Palin's SNL Appearance/ McCain Letterman Interview

As predicted last week, Sarah Palin did appear on SNL, but did nothing to help her image. She made two short appearances, neither in which she played a large role. In one, Palin danced as a rap song was performed making fun of her. She looked helpless as the jokes continued with her on air.

Also, if one were for some reason reading my comments from a classmate's blog, I predicted that John McCain's interview with David Letterman would be his toughest to date. It did indeed wind up being a challenging interview. Letterman was upset that McCain missed his first appearance on the show when he suspended his campaign, and had seemed to be an Obama supporter when he interviewed the Democratic candidate. Letterman was able to paint McCain into a corner when discussing Palin's comments about Obama paling around with terrorists. He noted that mistakes are made on the campaign trail.
